    TV license fee to INCREASE even further this April

    Viewers will need step up their payments to TV license further as the government plans to put up the cost of TV licence by £3.50 to £150.50 from April 1. 

    The 12-monthly fee for BBC  programmes will now increase for the first time for seven years in 2018 after ministers said it would rise.

    Many of the staff at BBC are said to be overpaid, with the likes of Jeremy Vine and more taking 100's of thousands of pounds. Many people are stating their anger on social media over the decision to increase the fee.

    The sex abuse scandal at Oxfam got deeper on Monday as Oxfam's former head of safeguarding claimed young/vulnerable teenage volunteers at British shops had been subject to abuse and overseas staff had traded aid for sex.

    Ms Evans said Ten per cent Oxfam staff  worldwide had been subject to sexual abuse by colleagues or witnessed the sexual abuse. 

    Oxfam volunteers as young as 14 have come forward to claim they were subject to abuse in some UK shops.

    Airport closed due to unexploded bomb

    London City airport has been closed for the rest of the day causing massive disruption across the capital after a World War 2 bomb was found nearby in the Thames. Developments were taking place at the nearby George V dock when the shock discovery took place and a massive exclusion zone has been put in place around the site.

    Hundreds of homes have been evacuated and up to 16,000 people are affected by the closure. The Metropolitan Police are on hand with the Royal Navy to try and take care of the situation but there are no indications of when this major issue will be resolved.

    German media have reported that raids carried out on migrants homes within regions across Germany have uncovered many of the 'migrants' holding allegiances towards terrorist groups.

    Germany authorities uncovered the information when they raided the homes of the migrants, the German media outlet 'Bild' reported. 

    Police knocked down the doors of 43 families due to suspicions that they had taken part in an elaborate task to defraud the government using made-up identities. The Police in Germany have stated that around 78 suspects, all under 25 years old, were able to take illegally, 141,000 euros in their fraudulent scheme.

    The charity Crimestoppers is offering up to £10,000 in cash for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

    The number of men stabbed in England in the last year was 164 which is a level not seen since 2009. Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) showed 413 rapes involving a knife in the year to March, up from 334 the previous year, while in 2010-2011 the number stood at 258.
