Viewers will need step up their payments to TV license further as the government plans to put up the cost of TV licence by £3.50 to £150.50 from April 1.
The 12-monthly fee for BBC programmes will now increase for the first time for seven years in 2018 after ministers said it would rise.
Many of the staff at BBC are said to be overpaid, with the likes of Jeremy Vine and more taking 100's of thousands of pounds. Many people are stating their anger on social media over the decision to increase the fee.
