The sex abuse scandal at Oxfam got deeper on Monday as Oxfam's former head of safeguarding claimed young/vulnerable teenage volunteers at British shops had been subject to abuse and overseas staff had traded aid for sex.
Ms Evans said Ten per cent Oxfam staff worldwide had been subject to sexual abuse by colleagues or witnessed the sexual abuse.
Oxfam volunteers as young as 14 have come forward to claim they were subject to abuse in some UK shops.
Caroline Thomson, Oxfam chair of trustees, said: "We recognise that we have some way to go to persuade her that we have the right moral leadership to be fully entrusted with public money."
